Re: Greenvanner?...
Well, I'm off on a voyage to spokane. To see a team of neurologist that have gathered to poke and prod and twist and inflate my leg up.
I'm hoping they don't go all out so I can hit up the harbor freight and get a floor jack and argon regulator.
I don't get up near a hb often, 3 hours from home, but I see neurologists aaaaaalll the time.
They love to bring groups of students, tell them about a rare disease, poke prod and pinch, it is much more of a show and tell than a treatment or service of anykind. It's doubtfully any actions will be taken today, or result of this group session.

Re: Greenvanner?...
I almost got a new jack, but they where out. I did get a argon regulator but can't get it fitted to my junk welder for like a week, waiting on a 5/8x18 to 1/8 npt adapter bushing. So I can get the gas from the bottle to the liner.

Re: Greenvanner?...
I feel ya on that. I'm doing 2 cars a month from my move to Idaho. Had a $300 day at DMV yesterday myself. Still have my Cutlass, 510, '35, wife's car, and some trailers. I guess less stuff is an option. No its not.

Re: Greenvanner?...
My citation was 45$ to transfer and licence when I was in highschool. It was going to be more, like 335, but I convinced the lady it was a passenger van, and not a truck.. and of course the sale price was on the bill of sale, I hate when that happens.

Re: Greenvanner?...
Well after a few weeks of barely poking at the van, I just ran out of fuck to give about this th400, and the many many jimmy rigs the po did to "install" it.
I got myself a th350, the correct crossmember, a flywheel and torque converter all cheap.
Last thing I need is a driveline... well that's not super easy for me to fund as it turns out.
I found 2 late model vans with th350s, but they both had one peice driveline instead of the 2 piece I need.
I would have grabbed one and made it work but they move the things around with fork lifts and both shafts where fucked.

Re: Greenvanner?...
When I say "I have" a trans and junk, it's actually sitting at my folks house in vancouver. So it's not in my hands, but it's one I know, and was rebuilt recently.

Re: Greenvanner?...
Well, it's been awhile, I got a th350, got that sucker up in there. It fixed the crossmember issue, had a drive line sorted, took 2 tries but it's all good, I am just needing to find a kickdown cable bracket that sits alittle further from my carb, and thats about it.. oh brakes. Needs some brakes.

Re: Greenvanner?...
Well, have not posted in a while, not really working on car projects, been caretaking for my landlord, and grandmother all year.
But I did get the van up and going, drove it a few times but then some lady in a Toyota truck did a hit and run on me, took it back out of commission.
Got moved to a new place after my landlord died last month, and started picking at the van again. The move would have been a lot easier with a van instead of 25 trips in a a10 wagon that's for sure.
The hit took out my radiator, broke my driver side exhaust manifold, trans mount and exhaust hanger. Possibly the driver lca.
Got a new rad back in it, made new trans cooler lines... Again. Also replaced the driver side exhaust manifold, but I broke a stud trying to force the kinda tweaked pipe back I to it.
And I have this mess to deal with. And the driver side lca, looks bent but Idk for sure.
