Yes ! 100% agreed ! None of this BS cooling fan modules or alternator clutch pulleys designed to extend the life of a $12-$15 belt.

Re: Country slice
Nobody gives a fling post update. New aisin water pump/thermostat into wifes daily. Probably wont be touching these recent replaced parts again.

Re: Country slice
Not much of anything , just a repair. Typical home stuff.
Noticed some bubbling of water/air between an expansion joint. Looked at the valves/pipes next go the home. Those weren’t it.

Re: Country slice
Got a tool or two delivered
Result ? Apparently this joint was the culprit. Got lucky.
The tool worked pretty decently especially considering doing aggregate. The 3.5 gallon (small) water pressure bottle for the wet cut D blade saved the day.
The existing compression coupler ? Yeah...literally tightened up the nuts , and it stopped leaking. Ordered more parts (locally didn't have anything).

Re: Country slice
Definitely could have been worse.
When the only tool you have is a hammer every problem starts to look like a hippy.

Re: Country slice

Re: Country slice
So.... little things.
We've been making this place our own.
Filled probably 40-green recycle bins of debris from trimmed trees etc...so far over the last few months.
Took down some more trees/bushes.
Painted 75% of the place (I've just been super busy with work/family balance)
and more.... will have to take pics later.
I have a large (to me) tree I will have to rent a lift for to trim back properly.
more to come

Re: Country slice
Would it be cheaper to have a tree guy come and trim the large tree than to rent a lift?
