Re: The never ending Project(s)

There is a super small crack in the radiator. they are 100 new, or I can find one used. Found one in salem for 30 bucks. Problem is, it's in salem... Thats a long drive. Just get a new one. By the time you get to Salem, then install it just to find out it sucks(it's leaking, plugged, whatever), you ...

On mine, that looks like the plug that goes to the EI Dizzy matchbox.. but that couldn't be right if yours is running..

Re: Misc Datsun parts

Interested in some of the stuff from that 68. The windshield wipers(the ones with the metal "spoilers/ wind deflectors", the hood hinges(or are those trunk hinges?), and the wiring. Is the wiring from the engine bay or the dash? I may be interested in both, if so.

Re: Jacob's goon build

Yeah, I was thinking if/when I rebuild my block, if you made a torque plate, I'd just rent/borrow yours. You're right, Tim. I used Chrome rings on my LZ the first time I rebuilt it, and one of them didn't seat :( I went and got myself some cheap cast ones after that and they seated right up. I'm not ...

Super nice wagon! .. a bit of advice; don't park it on the street. It's too clean to risk it.

Re: Jacob's goon build

Sooooo much great info in here.. just skimming through, I didn't see much as far as what you're doing for brakes? Are you going to be adding a booster? I'm at the point in my build trying to decide whether to delete the booster or get even more creative..

Re: Micro's 73 610

The thought of using a 510 one had crossed my mind. I actually even have one with the in tank fuel pump already in that I could rob from my 4dr.. the only drawback I can imagine would be less fuel capacity, but it's not that big of a deal to me, to be honest. I haven't ever compared a 610 fuel tank ...

Re: Micro's 73 610

Took a break from the wiring to look at some different things. Moving from accelerator linkage to cable is something that is happening, so I mocked up a 240sx pedal in another 610 I have(thus the yellow paint). I was happy to see that it bolts right in. http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv224 ...
